The Magnus Effect Has Taken Off To Greater Heights. Basketball Is Thrown from above the clouds. Watch the video and see how it does something spectacular
We've seen how the Magnus effect works it's scientifical magic in dazzling fashion before. Atop a dam, a basketball was thrown from the dam. The ball was applied with a spin before dropping it on top of the dam. As the ball freefalls down in it's descent, it started to hop a few times, skipping and jumping before eventually coming to a stop in the calm waters.
How impressive that was is even more impressive when this spectacular effect is taken to greater heights as science flies high in the sky.

A video by How Ridiculoulous shows a basketball being thrown from a cliff, just above the great clouds. It shows how insane the Magnus Effect really is!
While we've seen how it works before, watch another video of this effect to truly appreciate it's methodical beauty.
