No one gave her much needed attention when she was a child, constantly she was being bullied because of how she looks and everyone wasn't too kind. But that didn't deter Melanie Gaydos, a 27-year old fashion model who is now living the dream she only thought was impossible when she was a child. When she was little, she was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that left her bald and without any teeth,which causes growth abnormalities that has spoken out about her determination to break into the fashion industry. Early in her life, it discouraged her and left her feeling unwanted and left out. But she showed grit and determination, and she used it as a stepping stone to pursue her career in modelling. Her story truly is an inspiring one, and you should definitely read her life beyond her physical appearances.

Talking about her symptons, Melanie explained: 'Ectodermal Dysplasia means my pores are very small and I have very little body hair.' She went on: 'I only have three baby teeth at the moment… My baby teeth grew in and then they promptly started decaying.' But despite having the odds firmly stacked against her, the 26-year-old has forged a career as a top fashion model. Melanie explained that her modelling career began shortly after she moved to New York City. After setting up an amateur Model Mayhem account when she moved to New York, she started to get work in front of the camera. And she's really been celebrating success, including starring in the Mein Herz brennt music video for successful German heavy metal band Rammstein. Speaking to Yahoo Style Melanie said: "This year I’ve taken a more active approach in really truly believing in myself and who I am as a person." She explained: "I ended up meeting and starting a lot of my fashion work based off of Craigslist because there were a lot of fashion photographers on there who were looking for models who didn’t have a stereotypical look." It was, of course, difficult for her to merge seamlessly into the fashion industry. "When I go on a photo shoot and there are other industry models there, they normally don’t know what to make of me," she said in the video. "It’s difficult for me in the fashion world, because people think of me kind of as a gimmick." I wore wigs really only for societal purposes,” she said in the video. When asked about how her modeling started, she notes that her boyfriend at the time was a photographer and encouraged her to start: "I only wanted to be photographed by people who understood me." And since then, her life changed in a way she never thought would even be possible. A 360 degree turn, might we say. She fought the disease she was indefinitely born with, despite the odds being so high against her. She fought all the doubters, the naysayers, and the bullies she encountered when she was a child, and now she's living a high point in her life. Melanie’s grace and creativity have landed her in some stellar compositions that highlight her slender body, acute fashion, and bald head. Now she's an inspiring icon to everyone desiring to be a fashion model, all it takes is guts, grit, and determination in achieving the dreams you want to achieve.

Her story truly is an inspiring one, and we should definitely take note of how challenges in life surely isn't insurmountable. It would be a total shock for everyone seeing a woman walking around the streets without even strapping on a pair of jeans or pants of any kind. If a woman walked around the streets of NYC for a day with no pants, how many people do you think would notice? Well, if there’s some impressive body paint involved, then according to this video, only one! In an effort to see how observant New Yorkers are, the team hired body art company The Body Of Art to paint a woman’s legs to resemble jeans, and they sent her out sans pants on the streets of NYC. The point was to see if any New Yorkers would notice that the pants were, in fact, painted on and that the girl wasn’t wearing anything at the very least.

We’ve got to give her props to be ballsy enough to strut the streets au naturale. Even with painted-on pants, what if it sweat off? Those are only some of the possibilities, but certainly it took guts to pull something like this off. She began parading around the streets of Manhattan's Midtown neighborhood completely naked, but her legs covered in paint that had been fashioned to look like jeans, complete with stitching and even on-trend patches. The funny footage was part of a social experiment by Model Pranksters to determine just how observant the people of New York City are. The result? Well, not very. Barely few people even noticed. Even as she was standing by the train station, no one could even tell! We suspect that people may be too busy focusing on their day ahead that they aren't much aware of their surroundings. Looking at the video it does seem that she's wearing a pair of jeans, and we can't argue that it looks real! The daring prank even went inside a Forever 21 store looking for the same jeans as the ones she was “wearing”, if she even wore one, and asked a sales associate to find a similar pair for her. It was a ridiculous prank and we have to say it's amazing! We don't know why almost all of the people she bypassed didn't even notice a single thing! Most of them were busy going on their day ahead, and it seems only one noticed at the end of the video seems to have taken note of the trick, as he gets up close and personal to get a picture. Even walking by past Times Square did one soul even notice.

It's truly a hilarious prank, and certainly a daring one at the very least. You would have the cajones needed to pull this one off, and truly the results were entertaining! Recent discoveries in the Amazon leave many beautifully stunned and bewildered at the same time! Just like this massive tortoise found in the Amazon which sizes up almost to a car. Talk about huge! Researchers say this tortoise is a species of C. cofrinii, belonging to a group of side-necked turtles known as pelomedusoides. The turtle's head is huge, which was truly astounding.

In addition to its colossal size, the turtle us said to have been equipped with massive, powerful jaws, meaning it could've eaten just about anything in its range, from mollusks (a group that includes snails) to smaller turtles and even crocodiles, the researchers noted.
Its all-encompassing appetite as well as its need for a large range to satiate its food requirements may explain why no other turtle of this size has been found at the site. "It's like having one big snapping turtle living in the middle of a lake", one of the researchers who found out the tortoise in a statement. "That turtle survives because it has eaten all of the major competitors for resources." While the researchers have found bite marks on the remains of other side-necked turtles in the area, suggesting they were preyed upon by crocodilians, such predators would not have messed with this gigantic turtle. "In fact smaller crocodiles would have been easy prey for this behemoth." He added. Truly this was a rare find in the Amazon, and now researchers are delving deep into their findings to figure out how this massive tortoise came into being. It was a beautiful sunset in Russia. Rose hued skies, white clouds, it was a beautiful day indeed. Even more beautiful was a cloud seemingly formed in the image of Jesus Christ on the cross, spotted high above the sky! The rare but graceful occurrence was captured on a video and it was truly an amazing sight to see. It was even documented in a news report which left many people truly astonished!
