The Highway Patrol Group has been deployed by local officials in Metro Manila to effectively control and monitor the traffic flow and of course, be on the lookout for motorists and drivers who ignore and disobey traffic rules on the road. Some motorists were apprehended in their disobedience to the traffic laws, and it seems even police authorities aren't left out in the Highway Patrol Group's visions.
A photo was uploaded by twitter user BossPapi Sanchez. The photo displays a police officer being apprehended by the Highway Patrol Group for counterflowing the traffic in EDSA and ignoring traffic rules. This bodes well for everyone knowing that the patrol group implements traffic laws to every motorist regardless of position. This is good news considering that EDSA is already known for heavy traffic, and disobedience to the road rules will get you apprehended regardless of your position. It's a fair evaluation for the Highway Patrol Group, and it's certainly a good sign of what mayor Alfredo Lim once said: "The law applies to all, otherwise none at all.

Policeman Apprehended By Highway Patrol Group For Counterflowing Traffic in Manila

On the 27th of July, 2015, as the whole nation watches and listens closely to the State of the Nation adress of President Benigno Simeon Aquino III, thousands of protesters have conducted their march in Plenary Hall of the Batasang Pambansa in Quezon City.


As they press forward in their protest, it was immediately halted in it's tracks by policemen, setting up a blockade to close the rally.

But one of the focal points of the day was not the SONA of the President, nor the protest of thousands of people. What's been garnering attention through social media is rather a different story.

Chao-Tiao Yumol posted a very questionable photo on facebook with the caption ""The rallyist after the Sona. So anong palitan ng pera at Mcdo ang nanyayari? Akala ko ba prinsipyo ang pinaglalaban? Talaga namang nakakahiya ng maging Pinoy. Ano ba yan."

As seen from the image, the woman in the left side of the image is wearing an Anak-pawis partylist shirt, seemingly handing out cash and what seems to be meals bought from McDonald's. The partylist is currenty being led by it's 15th Congress Representative, Rafael "Ka Paeng" Vititolo Mariano.

The partylist is said to be against the President's admistration as the conducted rallies related with the issue regarding the farmers known as the "Pork Barrel Scam by the Priority Develepment Assistance Fund, also known as PDAF.


Instead of fighting for principles, character and dignity, the exact opposite can truly be said. When money talks, ears are wide open, and eyes are being shut down as the partylists buy their way into people's supports as the cycle of deceiving the nation's hearts continues.
