An alarming News was recently reported about a Toxic Durian Candy with a brand name of "Wendy" that were sold to the students of Surigao Del Sur. Approximately 1,081 students from elementary to high school were poisoned and rushed to the hospital for a medical treatment. This happened last June 10 2015.

The said contaminated sweets were produced and distributed from the City of Davao .


The FDA have found staphylococcus bacteria that could possibly the reason of the massive food poisoning. But still the case is under investigation for further analysis.
