Pastillas Girl Calls Yaya Dub A Copycat
MANILA — It seems that all the bashing she has been receiving has finally got to It's Showtime's Pastillas Girl.
Angelica Jane Yap, dubbed as 'Pastillas Girl', took to her Twitter account how it pains her to see such awful things being said about her online.
She stated that all she wanted was to find new love and heal the broken heart her ex-boyfriend had left her with, and that she didn't mean to oppose their rival show's 'AlDub'.
The 21-year-old added that she was sick of all the comments about her being not a good example, the promiscuous person netizens are making her out to be, and a copycat.
She went as far as pointing out that Yaya Dub, the other half of Eat Bulaga's trending love team, is not so original herself and is just copying international YouTube sensation, Miranda Sings.
Ms. Pastillas also posted a Miranda Sings video, seemingly making people see the similarities with the YouTuber and Maine Mendoza's KalyeSerye character.
The tweets have since been deleted.
