CLEVELAND - As LeBron James leads the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Playoffs, the two-time NBA champion announced to the media that he used steroids in the offseason per ESPN.

During an interview with ESPN, the star forward admitted to using steroids before the season started. He confirmed, "I used performance enhancing drugs in the offseason, I admit that. But the testing only counts during the season." He also pointed out that other NBA players do the same but did not name anyone specifically.

When asked how long he's been using steroids for, he jokingly responded, "I've doing this my whole life. How do you think my hairline got like this?" Before the interview ended, he did clear up that he started using steroids during his final year in St. Vincent-St. Mary High School on his own terms.

LeBron James also spoke about his 10th trip to the postseason as the Cavs closed out the season with a 34-9 record, his sibling-like relationship with Kyrie Irving and his disconnection with Kevin Love. Watch the full video on ESPN.

NAGA - Two residents of Naga City were rushed to the local hospital after they attempted to reenact a sex scene in the popular book and film "50 Shades of Grey". The male, 33 years old from Manila, suffered minor wounds while the female, 25 years old from Naga City, is yet to wake up blunt trauma to the head.

The male who does not wish to be named was told by the female to reenact a particular scene in the book which involves whipping the submissive woman while the man has a mask on. They proceeded with the play and was "able to reach ecstasy" on the first run. The second run, however, had the roles reversed with the man now being whipped.

According to the male, his partner went berserk. "Natuwa siya masyado sa pag-whip. Sinabi ko na yung safe word namin, ayaw pa rin tumigil. Tinamaan na [ako] sa betlog ko kaya hinampas ko na siya ng bote ng Red Horse." (She enjoyed the whipping me too much. I told her our safe word, but she didn't stop. She hit me on the balls so I hit her with a bottle of Red Horse.)

MANILA - A bill has passed the hearing committee that will ban League of Legends (LoL), Dota 2 and other MOBA games in computer shops in the Philippines. This will be effective next month from the date.

Filipino gamers were shocked as the news of their favorite pub games being banned hit the waves today. Many took to Facebook and Twitter their disappointment over the decision to pursue the ban after a double murder that occurred recently in Cavite over a LAN game of DotA (Defense of the Ancients).

Mineski members were 'disgusted' with the move and expressed interest in possibly moving to South Korea or America to pursue their e-sports careers there in the MOBA leagues. The global gaming community also sent out their sympathy to Filipino games and called for an appeal with the local government.

Dasmarinas has already banned the game of DotA inside computer shops, but after the nationwide ban was announced, many computer shop owners were confused and worried about losing their loyal hour-to-hour customers and patrons.

LONDON - After apparently announcing his leave from One Direction, Zayn Malik has backtracked and confirmed to the Directioners that it was just one big April Fools' prank.

Zayn Malik told reports that it was all a dare from his fellow One Direction members that escalated into a worldwide trend that swept social media including Twitter and Facebook. He has, however, announced on those same platforms that he will be returning to the band after taking a break with his love interest.

MAKATI - Michelle Liggayu, popularly known as Mich of the duo 'Jamich', has been under fire since the death of her boyfriend and fiancé, Jam Sebastian, last March.

The YouTube sensation went under scrutiny in comments on social media regarding her happy photos showing her with friends and frolicking on the beach while the love of her life was in his sickbed.



More criticisms broke out when Jam passed away. Mich uploaded a video of herself crying while 'reminiscing' her good times with her partner of six years, and the couple's followers found this unusual and disturbing. Many have commented that they would not have been able to find the strength to go online, much less post videos and updates; some felt that this was an act of hypocrisy—that Mich was milking her fiancé's death for her to gain more popularity.



While fans openly defended Mich against bashers during those critical times, a lot of them are now in doubt whether they had been right by doing so. It was rumored that she is in a newfound relationship with Neo Domingo, another internet celebrity and a friend to the couple, when pictures of them together started making rounds on Facebook.

Mich kept mum as suspicions of her relationship with Neo beginning way back when Jam was still alive also spread like wildfire, but is now breaking her silence by confirming the issue.

"Alam ko po hindi maganda tingnan, alam ko tingin nila mali. Ang sakit nga ng mga sinasabi nila, eh. 'Mich Bitch' daw, ganyan. Malandi daw. Pero 'di nila alam kung gaano kahirap," Mich said. "Hindi ko kasalanan na naghanap ako ng ibang... source, ng pagmamahal... na 'di maibigay sakin ni Jam nung mga times na 'yun." ("I know it doesn't look right, I know it seems wrong. They say a lot of hurtful things about me like 'Mich Bitch', those kind of stuff. They say I'm a flirt. But they don't know how difficult it all was for me. It wasn't my fault I had to look for another... source, of love... which Jam couldn't give me during those times.")

Mich also addressed her loyal fans, hoping they would understand and support her with whatever makes her happy. "Sa mga fans ko po, sana maging happy na lang kayo for me. Minahal ko naman si Jam. Pero tapos na 'yun, nagpapahinga na siya with God and His angels. Magpasalamat na lang siguro tayo na okay na siya at ako okay na rin. May nagmamahal pa rin sakin. Alam ko gusto ni Jam 'yun." ("To my fans, I hope you will just be happy for me. I loved Jam. But that's in the past now, he's already in the care of God and His angels. Let's just be grateful that he's okay now and I am, too. Someone still loves me. I know Jam would like that.")

Would she be making a new short film anthology with her new boyfriend and call their tandem 'NeoMich'? To that she laughingly said, "Naku, tingnan po natin. Sana suportahan din nila the way na sinuportahan nila ang Jamich." ("Oh my, maybe someday. I hope they support us the way they supported Jamich.")



Mich is the remaining half of the couple that became known for their short films on YouTube that they wrote, directed, and played in themselves. Jam passed away last March after battling with lung cancer for a year.
