In a screenshot by a netizen, the pastillas recipe was allegedly wrote last year on January 27, 2014 in a Facebook account by a guy named Benedict Driedhenne Sanchez Garcia, as seen from the screenshot.
After discovering that the pastillas recipe went viral, Benedict decided to post his reaction on his timeline on Facebook. He stated that the pastillas recipe he claimed he wrote over a year ago, is now trending online. Although he never mentioned that he deserved credits for the trending post, he did leave his own minced words in a provocative manner, and here is what he has to say. After netizens discovered his Facebook account, he was bombarded with a ton of messages and friend requests. He cited the immediate popularity he received through a post on his timeline. A little background regarding Benedict is that he is an events planning manager and coordinator in an events agency, He is also known for attending many sports events, as seen in his photos. Passionate about climbing great heights and coming in tune with nature, Benedict loves to go hiking. He is also known for writing "hugot lines" in reference about love and relationships.
